Give Yourself a Big Hug!
Jin Shin Jyutsu is the practice of awakening our innate wisdom to regenerate, revitalize and heal. We use this innate wisdom, to harmonize life energy in the mind, body and spirit. Here is a self-help technique to bring balance to the body, which promotes optimal health and well-being, and facilitate our own profound healing capacity.
Sit comfortably
Be aware of the Breath
Exhale completely and unload -feel your connection to the universe
Inhale and receive - feel your connection to the creator
Give yourself a Big Hug (recharge your body)
Cross arms, place thumbs under clavicle and place your fingers under your arms. This will calm all mental and physical functions so that you feel grounded and secure. It will also help all shoulder and arm projects (things needing attention), hormonal imbalances, and fatty tumors.
Hold for about two to five minutes.

Life Changes-Making Transitions with Ease!
Reblogged from Nancy Nicholas-Crossroads Coaching:
When you are in the beginning, middle or end of a transition, it can be tough to keep your balance. As I know many of you are in the midst of a change (and I’m in the middle of one too), I thought it might be helpful to get some insight on how to do it with ease.
I asked for some Divine input and the metaphor I was shown is below…
New Article and Intuitive Message!
Reblogged from Nancy Nicholas-Crossroads Coaching:
WordPress had a little glitch this morning and none of my posts made it out by email. If you missed them, the links and an excerpt are below!
From Letting Go of “Doing”
As the energies shift and we all evolve into more clear expressions of our true nature, we are called to let go of old approaches. Using the caterpillar/butterfly metaphor, sometimes it is difficult to switch from the focus of getting things done (for example, finishing off the leaves on the branch you are on) to focusing fully on creating and appreciating the beauty around us.
Healthy Salt??
Reblogged from Nancy's Soul Friends' Community:
Dear Soul Friend’s:
Have you heard that salt is bad for you? Well there is a type of salt that is actually very good for you which is unrefined , called celtic sea salt, which comes from the ocean. Celtic sea salt is filled with 60-80 trace minerals (depending on the source you read) which are vital for our bodies to function.
ANY ROAD
The very day that Nancy asked if anyone in our group would be interested in writing about a song that in some way was inspiring, I was having one of those “can’t get that song out of my head” days. It didn’t seem like a coincidence. Ever since then I have been mulling over what I would say about the little known George Harrison song “Any Road” that was running through my mind again and again. While the tune and the lyrics are catchy, it is the refrain that inspires me…”If you don’t know where you’re going, any road will take you there.”
“Any Road” vs “Your Road”
I believe that we are all wired before we are born to give us direction of our life’s “road.” It is almost like an internal GPS that guides us to be on our personal road. But rather than an external voice that tells us to take a right at the next intersection, it is an internal voice driven by feelings. I also believe we are born to be happy. The happier we are, the closer we are to being on “our road.” However, almost from the moment we are born, many of us are trained to drown out the guidance of that inner voice. Parents, teachers, bosses, friends…all have their own agenda for the road that we should be on…their road. They may be driven by wanting the best for you but in the process they are creating a set of beliefs about how the world operates. That set of beliefs creates interference and drowns out the voice of your internal GPS.
“If you don’t know where you’re going…”
We end up creating a path based on what we think we want determined by other people’s beliefs or our hidden beliefs. Rather than focus on creating happiness, we set goals based on what we believe is missing. We decide we will be happy when..we lose ten pounds or get out of debt or get organized…. We create the steps necessary to achieve a goal, then push our way through the steps and expect to be happy once we have reached the goal. This approach has helped millions of people expand their awareness of what is possible in their life. But we often work toward achieving goals believing that once we have conquered “whatever,” our road will magically appear in front of us. We believe once we lose ten pounds then we will finally have the relationship we want or once we get the right job then our money troubles will be over. We become trained to believe that our road is paved with filling in the missing pieces.
To really know where you’re going…you have to know where you are right now.
I believe that to get on “your road” you need to recapture your ability to get in touch with your feelings. You need to know what makes you happy, what brings you joy and follow it. It sounds so simple, and it can be. But to walk freely on “your road,” you also need to be aware of your feelings of anger, loneliness, or lack… Any experiences that create fear are clues to beliefs that prevent you from walking on “your road.” We create these beliefs in order to create a sense of safety. We yearn to know how things work so that we can avoid unpleasant experiences and create desirable ones. But these beliefs are not necessarily based on truth. You may be aware of the beliefs that you have learned from your parents, teachers, or church. However, there are many hidden beliefs influencing your life that were created in this life time and in past lives preventing you from walking freely on “your road.” Identifying and releasing these hidden beliefs can result in magical changes that allow you to be free to walk on “your road.” And “your road” is paved with happiness and love and joy and abundance!

Taking Ownership: Claim Your True Essence (and Release the Rest)!
If you were a house, what would you be like? According to some dream experts, dreaming about a house often means that we are dreaming about ourselves. The condition of the house indicates the state of our own inner world. For March’s Empowerment Call we’ll be asking our Spiritual Support Team to help us see the house of ourselves and to get a feel for what is going on inside of us. By understanding ourselves better, we will be better able to stay centered in our truth. We will claim that which is us, and release that which is not!

Strength… not always what it appears to be!
When our Sanctuary group met after the first of the year to do a little planning and spend some time together, each of us was asked to choose a word that might be a guiding principle for the year. Because of a variety of reasons, the word I chose is strength.
Honestly, when I chose that word, I bought into it for its traditional definitions and connotations- “the quality or state of being strong; bodily or muscular power; vigor” (from Dictionary.com). I, especially, was hoping for some of that “vigor” mentioned in the definition given some health concerns I had been dealing with in 2011. However, as I’ve lived with this word and lived with the first month or so of 2012, I started to realize that strength comes in many guises.
We have a culture of “powering through”- illness, discomfort, pain… And, as a longtime sufferer of migraines, I’ve done my share of powering through, with or without medications. And, really, it may have done a bit of short-term good- an appointment not needing to be rescheduled; a project not being put off- but I’m not any better off for having had the strength to power through, generally speaking. What I’m increasingly becoming aware of as I travel on the journey of my life is that sometimes the greatest strength is in knowing when to have a different kind of strength- the kind of strength that requires much more subtly and willpower than the traditional kind of strength.
Many of you who are familiar with my coaching and writings, know that I am a collector of quotes. My favorite and most consistently guiding is the Buddhist, “Be still and know.” I first encountered it within the writings of Thich Nhat Hahn and have since become acquainted with the Psalm 46, “Be still and know that I am God” but I prefer the Buddhist version. To me it symbolizes the practice of mindfulness and taking stock of all that is right in one’s life. Often a much greater strength is required of the act of pausing rather than pushing forward. And haven’t we all been in a situation where it took the greatest amount of strength to not participate, or let a situation unfold, and just be? Oh what you can learn by pausing!
So, instead of the powering through kind of strength that maybe I was hoping for regarding this year, I am paying close attention to the messages I receive when having the strength to “be still and know.”
Happy Valentine’s Day! Happy 2012!

Aura Pulsing to Balance Your Energy!
I’ve been taking some amazing classes on working with energy and one of the techniques I learned was how to balance the Auric Field. It’s a very gentle and simple technique, but really powerful! I shared about it here: Aura Pulsing
I hope you find it helpful!
I also pulled a couple of I Can Do It! cards by Louise Hay for all of you. Here are the affirmations that fell out of the deck:
“Enduring loving relationships brighten my life.”
“I have unlimited potential. Only good lies before me.”
Have a great day!
