The Sharing Center at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church
Buddy Ross and I chose this charity for the month of July because we have both been impressed with the number of people supported by this organization in our area. This organization feeds more than twenty families every Friday night all year round. With so many being out of work, the opportunity to receive this aid is vital and necessary.
Highland Local Schools has food drives throughout the school year to help keep the Sharing Center stocked but even with this support, supplies sometimes fall short of the demand. During the summer it is even more difficult to meet all the needs of those coming for assistance. We hope that you will consider making a non-perishable food or paper product donation to the Sharing Center during the month of July. Freedom from hunger is something many of us take for granted. Some do not have that luxury. Please consider helping out those in need today.
All non-perishable food and paper products are accepted.
Current needs include:
Canned Fruit (applesauce, peaches)
Chili with and without beans
Kidney and Black Beans
Cereal
Juice 32 or 64 oz.
Diapers
Soap & Detergent
Paper Towels
Donations can be dropped off at St. Paul Lutheran Church.
6462 Ridge Road
Sharon Center, Ohio 44274
330-239-1340
For smaller donations, there is a basket in the front door of the church. For larger donations, please call and someone will meet you at the back door of the lower parking lot. The office is staffed between 8:30 and 3:30 Monday through Friday.
