Jana Tucker is the owner of Conversations & More Bookstore.  Here’s what Jana has to say about the store and her background…

“My work a day job for the past 25 years has been in management and sales, but I’ve known for quite some time that Spirit had “bigger” plans for my talents.  I recently achieved the position of Vice President of Corporate Sales/Operations and at almost the same time the opportunity of starting my own business with my family presented itself and we haven’t looked back!  We opened
Conversations and More on February 5th and we have only begun to explore the many, many ways we can make the dream that was our shop become the reality…our logo is DREAM….BELIEVE….CREATE.

Our intent and certainly our goal is to provide a place that is not only a resource for women, but also a place where they may find a good book, a one of a kind piece of vintage jewelry, a beautiful candle, yummy pastries, a steamy cup of Chai Tea, or that perfect piece of chocolate!  Everyone needs that certain something that feeds the soul even in small ways and we hope to continue to search for just those things.

We look for products that aren’t found locally that support causes for women, such as our Greeting Card line….Hope for Women….a socially responsible company committed to providing sustainable employment for economically disadvantaged women worldwide.  These cards are all handmade from flowers of the El Salvador forest and then individually packaged with the story on the back.  We’ve had wonderful comments on these beautiful cards.

We will be featuring an Artist of the month.  We showcase the artist’s work and also provide a Bio that explains what inspires them to create.”
