An Interview with Donna
1. When did your business or organization get started? What circumstances led to its creation?
My husband was diagnosed with MS and we found that Jin Shin Jyutsu® made a significant difference in his well being. For many years I continued to study but only worked on friends and family. About 4 years ago someone suggested that I start organizing classes for the JSJ community in the Cleveland Area, so that people would not have to travel. It seemed to take on a life of its own. Since that time I started branching out as a practitioner and now work at River’s Edge on Rocky River Drive in Cleveland and also have sessions in Medina by appointment only.
2. What is your greatest success story with a client?
My greatest success story is a client who was going thru chemotherapy and her white count was very low and was not able to receive her next dose of Chemo. I worked on her on the weekend and she felt so much better that she went for a test on the following Monday and all of her numbers were dramatically better. I think this shows that JSJ works well with western medicine too.
3. What are your favorite books and movies?
One of my favorite movies is “The Green Mile” , I am not good at remembering names of movies and books and just happened to see The Green Mile again on tv. As far as books, right now I have been reading a lot of Carolyn Myss and Anthony DeMello. I always have more than one book going at the same time. I also read quite a bit of fiction as well.
4. What do you love to do when you aren’t working?
When I am not working I enjoy my grandchildren, and I am learning about raw foods. Most of all I enjoy sitting and watching the deer that stroll through my yard.
What is Jin Shin Jyutsu?
Jin Shin Jyutsu employs twenty-six “safety energy locks” along energy pathways that feed life into our bodies. When one or more of the paths becomes blocked, the resulting stagnation can disrupt the local area and eventually disharmonize the complete path of energy flow. Using the Art of Jin Shin Jyutsu we use our hands as “jumper cables” to hold the safety Energy Locks. Holding these energy locks in combination can bring balance to mind, body, and spirit.
A Jin Shin Jyutsu (JSJ) session generally lasts an hour. It is a gentle, yet powerful art, practiced by placing hands (over clothing) onto specific safety energy locks on the body. JSJ can be done as a self help routine as well as with a practitioner.

Thank you Donna for the wonderful session! My sinus infection is gone and my whole being feels lighter and more at peace. What a miracle! Thanks so much for the wonderful healing. Blessings to you!
